On the Road...Between Paris and Prague
October 2010
Jake and Jenna returned to their home at the end of the Paris trip, leaving Brian and I and the Hillsteads to travel on to Prague. We rented a car in Paris and drove to Prague with a few stops in-between. The countryside was beautiful to see. Below are just a few shots...and they aren't great because they are drive by shots. The pictures just don't convey how beautiful everything was.
The following four pictures were taken in Salzburg--one of our stops along the way.
This last group of ten pictures was taken in Germany. There are a couple of castles there almost right next to each other-- the Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau Castles. The Neuschwanstein Castle is the one pictured below. It was the castle that the Disneyland Castle was modelled after. It was so gorgeous and the little town at the base of the castle was like a magical piece of winter time. We would love to go back and spend a long weekend there.
